Review about 'The Wise Grasshopper'

'The Wise Grasshopper' is  a story about a boy who always play with a  grasshopper. one day he broke his mother's cup then he run away until he met the grasshopper. the grasshopper ask him to tell the truth to his mother but the boy is too afraid to tell that. this story is tell us about how saying the truth is the most important in our life.

            When I was in 2^nd grade in high school I had a great class and great classmates. We were so enjoyed to study in that class. They were so friendly. We always study, breakfast, and lunch together. Teachers were so happy if they taught in our class. They said “your class is so cohesive”. Even though my class was so cohesive like the teachers said, sometimes we also had some misunderstanding.

            When final exam was over, we made a planning to travel to somewhere. We planned a “meeting” to discuss about this trip. Chairman said “how about Gunung Tujuh?” he said in Gunung Tujuh we could hike and enjoyed the view from highest. But one of my friends didn’t agree with that idea. “we are not ready yet to prepare if we want to go there. We just have 3 days!” said Nesti.  “how about Danau Kerinci?” other’s said. We just think that idea wasn’t too bad. Yes, after discussing for a few time, we agreed to go to Danau Kerinci.

            For beginning, my family didn’t allowed me to go to Danau Kerinci but I make sure them to allow me.  And then, they said yes. I was so happy to hear that. We gathered at 7 in front of my teacher’s house. We went to Danau Kerinci at 9 and we arrived at 12. We had lunch together and took some pictures there. We had fun so much on that day.

            When we wanted to go home, one of our motorcycles was broken. We must fix it before we went home. That broken motorcycle was fixed by us.  Fortunately, we arrived at home safely. We were happy on that day, and we can’t forget that. I love and I miss them.

            Bukik Putuih is a name of a hill in my hometown. People there named the hill like that because a story and I think that’s a horror story.

            Once upon a time, there is a ghost called “Induak Ameh”. “induak Ameh” is  like a girl who able to fly. People believed that she can give people gold. But people afraid if they see “Induak Ameh”, because she always asks blood to people in there. And she only drinks blood human!

            One day, she come to village and asks for blood. People in there are so afraid. But no one wants to give their blood to her. After discuss, they agreed to give squirrel’s blood to “Induak Ameh”. For beginning, “Induak Ameh” didn’t realize that. She just drinks until the last drop. People who give squirrel’s blood feel relieved that they think their idea is success. But when the last drop was drunk by her, she realize that people in that village was lies to her. She is getting angry and she was destroyed whatever she saw. But when she passes the village, a hill blocked her way. So she destroyed that hill until that hill apart.

My Home Town

“Tansi Ampek”  Sangir, Solok-Selatan

I was born in Sangir, South Solok and grew up there. We need about four hours to go there by bus. So, I am going tell you about Sangir.

There are some beautiful places in Sangir, Solok-Selatan. Such as: “Malanca”, “Tansi Ampek”, etc. But now, I will tell you about “Tansi Ampek”. “Tansi Ampek” is the name of a waterfall in Sangir. Along the road to the “Tansi Ampek” we will pass the tea garden. With the fresh air, we can enjoy the beautiful scenery and soothing eye. And it makes us feel calm and comfortable. But, it’s a bit steep the road is a little tiring hike. But tired of it will be gone by the time when we arrive at “Tansi Ampek”. Because the road climb, this place is usually also used as a Hiking place.

In “Tansi ampek” we can see waterfall 3 levels and a pool under that waterfall. The water is so cool Because Sangir located in Highest. As we see, “Tansi ampek” still nature with wild plants, forest, clean water, fresh air and less pollution. In “Tansi ampek”, people usually go swimming, Take a picture, or just enjoy the view.
